Located
only 15 miles from Albany, in the heart of southwest Georgia’s famed
Plantation Country, our 1800 acre working farm is managed with all farming
activities designed for one purpose - enhancing wildlife habitat. The
abundance and diversity of game available at Pretoria Station is only

Gillionville Plantation
Gillionville
Plantation has remained in one family longer than any other quail-hunting
plantation in Georgia It was purchased by in 1880, around the time that
its now massive oaks were planted. There is a kennel filled with 30 dogs,
mostly English pointers. There are 18 horses in the barn, and four mules
(Bourbon, Coke, Loretta, and Lynn) to draw two hunting wagons through the
10,000 acres of manicured quail-hunting land. The full hunting experience
is captured at Gillionville Plantation. When you visit Gillionville
Plantation, it really is like stepping back in time.
